Habaneros Citrus Shrimp

3 lb large tiger shrimp, shelled and deveined
4 oz tequila
4 lg limes; juice only
1 bunch fresh cilantro or parsley,cleaned and chopped
1 oz olive oil
zest of 2 oranges and tangerines
2 dried habaneros, crushed
1 tb brown sugar
1 citrus fruit pieces, for skewer
1 garlic cloves, for skewer
1 onion pieces, for skewer


Combine all ingredients in a non metalic bowl except shrimp - mix well. Marinate shrimp for 1 hour maximum. After marinating the shrimp, skewer with onions and cloves of garlic, chunks of oranges, limes and other citrus fruits as desired. Barbeque quickly on hot grill until shrimp turn pink and curl slightly.
