Baked Salmon Steak with Wine Sauce

2 lbs. fresh salmon slices, 1/2 inch thick
salt and pepper
1 cup sherry
1 clove garlic, chopped(optional)
1/4 cup olive oil
juice of 1 lemon


Place salmon slices in baking pan, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients, and pour over fish. Bake until tenderat 400 degrees, about 1/2 hour. Do not overcook.

Serves 6.
