Southern Comfort Cream Cheese Pound Cake
3 sticks butter or margarine1 -8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
3 c. sugar
1 T. pure vanilla
6 eggs
3 c. all-purpose flour
Cream butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then add flour until well blended. Bake 1-1/2 hours in greased and floured tube pan at 325-degrees F. Cake may be topped with 1/2 c. chopped pecans before baking. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar after baking.
