Marshmallow Creme Fudge

1 can Evaporated Milk
4 1/2 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 stick Butter
1 jar Marshmallow Creme
24 oz. package Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Optional:
Walnuts or Pecans, 1 cup chopped.


Add the evaporated milk, butter, and sugar to a large sauce pan. Heat until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees, stirring constantly to avoid burning. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chips until melted. Add marshmallow creme until well blended. Add nuts if desired. Pour in well buttered 9" square pan. Let cool. Cut into squares.
