Divinity Fudge

2 cups sugar
¼ teaspoon salt
2 egg whites
1/3-cup water
1/3-cup light corn syrup
1-teaspoon vanilla


Combine sugar, water, syrup and salt in 2-quart casserole. Microwave on high for 6 ½ minutes. Stir. Microwave uncovered at high until ball forms when dropped in cold water - 5 to 8 minutes. Cool for 3 to 4 minutes. Beat egg whites until stiff. Pour mixture over eggs until holds shape. Stir in vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto wax paper.
