Cream Cheese Pound Cake
1/2 pound butter (2 sticks), softened8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
2cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Combine butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Beat well until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beat well. Sift flour with baking powder and add gradually to mixture. Put into greased and floured 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes, then remove from pan. Sprinkle with confectionery sugar.
