7-Up Pound Cake
2-1/2 sticks butter3 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
3 cups all-purpose flour
7-ounces of 7-Up
Cream butter with sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add lemon juice; add flour and 7-Up alternately, beating after each addition. Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 300 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours, or until cake tests done.
Serve with whipped cream and strawberries.
