Stuffed Bread
Take one roll of Pillsbury Bread Loaf (found with canned biscuits in grocery store). When you pop can open, dough will have a seam down side. Pull at that seam to loosen, and the whole loaf will unroll into a large rectangle.
Now comes the fun! Choose your ingredients...the last one I made, I brushed the dough with dijon mustard, added a layer of thinly sliced provolone, and then thinly sliced roast beef. Tonight I am doing one with shredded cheddar and sliced turkey breast. I have even heard of peanut butter and jelly! Anyway, roll your loaf back up to "jelly-roll" your ingredients, and seal all edges by pinching together. Lay in greased loaf pan and bake according to bread package directions. When browned, cool for 15 min. and slice into 1" slices (use good serrated knife to keep pinwheel effect). It will easily feed a family of 4 if you add fries or mashed potatoes, and you can also freeze the whole loaf after baking. For any vegetarians, I have heard that spinach leaves and swiss is yummy! (Tomatoes can be added to that one.)
Use your imagination and have fun!
