Pumpkin-Apple Bread

Topping
1 Tbsp flour
5 Tbsp sugar
1 Tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp butter softened

Bread
3 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp allspice
16 0z can pumpkin puree
3/4 cup oil
2 1/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups chopped apples


Preheat oven to 350.

Make the topping: In a bowl blend flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter until it looks like course meal. Set aside.

Sift together flour, salt, baking soda, and spices. Mix pumpkin, oil, sugar and eggs in the bowl of a mixer. Add flour mixture and mix to combine well. Fold in apples and place in 2 loaf pans. Sprinkle topping evenly on each loaf.

Bake for 50 minutes. Let cool in pans 45 minutes remove and let cool completely
