Ginger Spice Muffins

1 3/4 c flour
2 tbs sugar
2 tbs brown sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 c butter, melted
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 c milk


Preheat oven to 400. Combine all dry ingredients in a large Add remaining ingredients and stir just until moistened. Batter will be lumpy. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full and bake 15 minutes until golden.

Note: Melt 2 TBSP of butter. Dip the tops of the muffins in the butter and then a cinnamon sugar mix. These are great for snacks. They also freeze well.
