Cheese Biscuits

2 cups flour
½ lb. sharp cheddar cheese
1 ½ sticks soft butter
1 teaspoon salt
dash cayenne pepper


Cream together the flour, cheese and butter. Add salt and pepper. Make into a soft dough. Chill for 1 hour. Roll out and cut into circles. Bake at 325 degrees for 13-14 minutes. Sprinkle with confectionery sugar while hot.
