Stacked Canapés

8 ounces cream cheese with chives and onions
1 tablespoon honey mustard
30 slices party pumpernickel bread
8 ounces thinly sliced cooked ham
8 ounces thinly sliced Swiss or Monterey Jack cheese
Ripe and/or pimiento stuffed olives or small sweet pickles


Stir together cream cheese and mustard. Place 10 bread slices on a cookie sheet. Spread about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread. Top each slice with a piece of ham and a piece of cheese; spread each slice of cheese with about 1 teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers, ending with a bread slice. Cover and freeze for 1 hour. Cut each sandwich diagonally into halves. Spread each sandwich half with a toothpick topped with an olive or sweet pickle.
