Chicken Crescents

cup crushed stuffing
cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 3 oz package cream cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup cooked chicken, chopped fine
1 2-oz can chopped mushrooms
1-package crescent dinner rolls
3 tablespoons butter


Combine stuffing mix and nuts. Chop fine and set aside. Combine softened cream cheese, butter, mushrooms and chicken. Flatten each crescent roll and spread each one with chicken mixture. Roll up and seal. Dip rolls in melted butter and roll in stuffing mixture. Bake on cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes at 375 degrees.


Sauce:
2 packages chicken gravy mix
2 tablespoons chives

Mix according to package directions and add chives. Pour over rolls when served.
